Gordy, Grayson, and I are enjoying a little vacation as we visit Grammy & Papa's farm. We're having a nice time, enjoying all the space, fresh air, songbirds, and special time with family. Gordon and Grayson have been exploring the farm and loving the sandbox and new sand toys in Grammy & Papa's backyard, not to mention all the hugs, kisses, treats and presents from Grammy & Papa. Gordon spent the entire day on Saturday as Papa's Little Helper. They rode on the lawnmower, fixed the gate on the dog run, dug in the garden, and did various other chores. Grayson has been providing his "childproofing alert skills" as he finds new things to get into in the farmhouse that is probably the size of our little house x10. Uncle Josh was here all weekend, entertaining the boys with his funny voices and great rapport with kids -- there have been a lot of belly laughs! We're enjoying the scenic fields, trees, and lakes -- planning to go for a nice nature hike this afternoon....
Gary will join us here this Thursday, and this weekend we'll all celebrate Uncle Dave's college graduation and Grammy's 60th birthday in the Twin Cities.
Not sure how much I'll post while we're here, but will definitely share photos of our trip when we get home.

Grayson's 1st Birthday
Musical background chosen by Gordon. :) Grayson enjoyed a fun-filled weekend! Lunch at Chuck E. Cheese with Grammy & Papa, Auntie Nenny flew in, and we celebrated in the mountains--it was a great time for all!

Proud Big Brother
Gordon helped teach Grayson how to open presents for his birthday, and he was given a couple little gifts too, thanks to his aunties and Gramma & Papa. Only a couple months and our "big boy" Gordon will be 3!
