Kind of a big bunch of pictures, featuring pumpkin carving night and trick-or-treating. Auntie Nenny flew in special from Portland to join us for Halloween. Gary's down in New Mexico for work, covering the BSU game tomorrow, so he missed out on our trick-or-treating this year.
Gordon greeted Auntie Nenny at the airport with "Happy Halloween, Pawdner -- Nenny!" He has mastered saying "Trick-or-Treat," followed by a polite "Thank you!" after each stop. Though he was very courteous toward a tall man in a monster suit, as we walked away, Gordy said, "That monster was pretty scary." As the houses were closing up shop, Gordy persisted in attempting to further our endeavors by saying, "I tink I can get more candy...I tink I am right about dis."
Grayson encountered a wardrobe malfunction just moments before we were to leave for the airport. His zipper on the chicken suit he was to wear for the evening was somehow broken. Panic ensued for a brief while, but we managed to pull together a charming little cowboy get-up for him at the last minute. He was adorable. Though he was a cowboy of few words, he did provide background noises with an almost constant sound of "Ooooooooooo..." as we traipsed along Harrison Boulevard.
We all enjoyed our first trick-or-treat hot spot at Grandpa Dave & Grandma Myra's house. They showered us with chocolate. :)

The boys made such cute little cowboys! It looks like you had a busy but fun Halloween. Enjoy the visit with Jenny! I love that we can keep in touch this way.
