Bruneau Sand Dunes

Wind-whipped & sun-kissed, we're home -- after a fun-filled day at Bruneau Sand Dunes.
Here we are, setting off to climb the dunes....

Temperatures were in the 60's today - a little windy at the top of the hill, but a glorious day overall!

Gordy's socks blew part way down the hill...he chased them down, giggling all the way back up.

The people and dog in the background give some dimension to how high up we were.

Playing in the sand for hours -- therapeutic, like a day at the spa....

What a view -- beauty all around us.
That's Grayson below, playing in the sand and singing heartily to himself.

There's a lot to explore here....

Studying caterpillars and sand beetles....

Pit stops at the education center before heading home. Hugs & happiness after a wonderful day together. (You can see the sand that collected in Gordy's nostrils -- we'll be finding sand for days, I'm sure....)

Back in Boise -- we waited in the car while Gary ran in to pick up the Chinese take-out we ordered for an easy dinner. Yum!

Grayson snoozed for most of the drive home.

What an incredible way to celebrate the 1st day of spring together!!
