Happy News!

Well, it's been quite awhile since I've posted anything on our blog - and I'd mentioned posting pictures from our wonderful August family trip to the Oregon Coast, which I still haven't done. But before I figure out how to catch up on the past month and a half, I'll start with our biggest news:

We are so very happy to share that we are expecting another baby - due March 10th! The above ultrasound photo was our first glimpse of the little peanut, taken on August 2nd at 8 weeks along. The photo below was a bonus ultrasound, taken at 12 weeks on Aug. 30th (my doctor ordered it, just to give me peace of mind - to see him/her moving and the heartbeat).

As of today, we are 17 weeks and 1 day pregnant - and so far, all has gone very well. We continue to pray for a healthy pregnancy this time, and a happy & healthy little one to arrive in March. A week ago, we passed the equivalent to when we lost our precious baby Gabriel in January, and that was a milestone for me. Overall, I'm quite a bit more anxious this time around, after the traumatic 2nd trimester miscarriage of Gabriel. But we have faith in God's will for this child and our family. Any and all prayers are appreciated for this dear baby I'm carrying now ~ thank you! March seems so far away...but I know we'll get there.

Hooray! I was so excited to hear this news from your mom at the family picnic. I hope you are feeling physically okay, and we'll pray for a healthy, happy baby come March.

I was not sure if how long I'd have to keep this all a secret. Been bursting with joy for the 4 of you for far too long. Praying for the newest little Salzman and for the mommy!

May God bless you with His grace as you settle into this second trimester! I can only imagine how nervous you are...I would be the same way! Please know you are being prayed for and thought of each and every day! We pray for peace, patience and the healthy development of this little peanut growing inside of you!
Take care my dear friend and know you are in good hands!
Much love,
Julie
