Summer Cabin Projects

One of several projects accomplished at the cabins during the past month, was to paint a couple of the rooms, and also put in new flooring in parts of the large cabin.
Here Gordon pitches in to slap some color on the walls.

Gordon, Dad/Papa, and Gary got this large living area painted within just a few hours.

Mom picked out these colors - a warm peanut butter hue, combined with a deep chocolate brown. It could be called "the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup room?!"

Grayson helped out as well.

Teamwork!

And here is the finished product:

The light is bad in this photo, but you can see the shiny new flooring in this one.

Though the boys did enjoy helping, they also kept themselves busy (and out of the way) by playing outside for much of the time.

They love their tractors!

More project photos coming in a later post....
Like every one of the past several summers, the family teamwork really made major gains in fixing up and beautifying our "works in progress" family cabins!

Oh, you have the waterfall picture from Grandma & Grandpa's basement! I noticed it immediately. What a great memento, especially in your mountain cabin.

Yes! My Dad got the picture and thought it would go well at the cabins - and it looks great! I always loved that painting too. ☺
