God's Country!

We haven't filled the hummingbird feeder yet, but the nut hatches have been devouring sunflower seeds from the other bird feeder. We hear wild turkeys and Canadian geese each morning, and I spotted elk tracks near the driveway this morning.

Daffodils are in bloom all over our property.

Snow remains on the upper ridges of the surrounding mountains.
With blue skies, green pine trees, brilliant yellow daffodils, and all the other various hues...this place is full of beautiful color.
We are very blessed!

Grammy & Papa Visit!

The good news is we close on the sale of our house next week and are temporarily living up in the mountains at our cabins.

The GREAT news is Grammy & Papa came to visit over Easter weekend!
We had such a nice time, and they helped us enormously by lovingly watching the boys while Gary and I packed up our little house in Boise.
These are just a few of the many photos taken during their visit, but I have to start somewhere, so enjoy these moments, fishing on the bridge.

Great job fishing, Gordy!

What a beautiful day in the mountains!
Thanks, Mom & Dad ~ for everything!

A Day in the Park!

In spite of some rain and chilly weather, spring has sprung in Boise! We are enjoying sunny days and longer outings at the parks. These photos were taken last week on a beautiful spring day!

Gordy sitting in the "lion's mouth," the reason this park is referred to as "the lion park."

Grayson climbing...and making Mommy nervous.

Can't believe Grayson is almost 2!
Gordy found a bunch of seed pods, fallen out of a tree.

Grayson off exploring....

A happy baby. (He still lets me call him my baby, but I know that won't last long).
Little Mr. Handsome!

I love this photo of Gordon!

Playing together....
Uh-oh, I see a plan in both of their eyes....

Uh-huh. Sword fighting with sticks.
Boys will be boys.
I LOVE THEM!!!!
