Coming Soon....

We took an incredible road trip to the Oregon Coast last weekend, August 18 - 22. We got to spend quality time, Friday night through Sunday morning, with Jen and Tony, who drove over from Portland to meet us. Anyway - per usual, I took an overwhelming amount of photos of our trip, so it may take me awhile to pick through all the pics and put together some posts of our adventures. It was such a memorable family vacation! We all had a wonderful time together! Details and photos will be posted soon....

Happy Anniversary ~ Seven Years!

This was our wedding day, atop Brundage Mountain near McCall, Idaho.
It was a beautiful day, and it's been seven wonderful years since.

Weekend in McCall

August 6-8, we enjoyed a wonderful weekend away with Dave & Myra at their condo in McCall.
Saturday morning, we enjoyed the Farmers' Market and brought home some delicious treats: fresh tamales for lunch, a variety of fresh berries, and a delicious orange, cream cheese pound cake. The rest of the day we spent relaxing at the pool - the boys especially loved that!

Saturday evening, Gary, the boys, and I went for a little evening stroll.

Once the boys were in bed, Dave, Myra, Gary & I sat out and enjoyed a clear, starry sky.

On Sunday, we took in a beautiful day at the north beach of Payette Lake.

It was a relaxing and fun-filled weekend. While there, we celebrated Myra's June 5th birthday, as well as our 7th anniversary, for Gary and me. Incidentally, our wedding took place on top of Brundage Mountain, just outside of McCall - and our reception was held in the common area of Dave & Myra's condo, which was also where several of our family and friends stayed during the celebration weekend. It was a great time to be back there and reminisce that extra special wedding weekend, seven years ago. ♥
