Grayson's Actual Birthday

The party didn't end with our family BBQ. We continued celebrating Grayson's birthday throughout the week, especially on May 4th - the day he turned 3.

One of Gordy's special friends, his Mommy and 9-week old baby brother came over for lunch and playtime. What a fun-filled day! After a pizza, salad, and peaches lunch - we enjoyed cupcakes -- the 'frost & decorate your own' kind. Here's Gordon, decorating his treat.

Just as our friends were heading home, Daddy called with a brilliant idea.
Let's go to Chuck E. Cheese!
Here, Grayson is hitting the wall in his car seat, after such a fun play date.... Hang in there, buddy ~ there is still fun to be had!

It didn't take long and he rallied - for pizza, salad, and a special treat - Sprite! (aka 'Bubble Juice!')

One of the few photos I managed to snap of Gordon during our outing - he's prone to shy away from photos lately, but I'll keep on trying. Even though I can't provide photographic proof, Gordon had a super time at Chuck E. Cheese also.

Grayson's Birthday Party (Family BBQ)

We couldn't wait until May 4th to start celebrating Grayson's 3rd birthday. The party kicked off with a family BBQ on Sunday, May 2nd.

Grayson's request for this year's cake was one with DINOSAURS!

And a DINOSAUR CAKE is what he got.

It wasn't too hard to find dinosaur props nearby.

These cute dinosaurs were given to the boys last fall, from Auntie Lassa.

Grayson is one happy little boy!

Daddy & Mommy are so proud of little Grayson! Can't believe it's been 3 years since we welcomed him to our family.

Gordon loves his little brother too!

After grilled hot dogs, bison burgers, Oriental chicken salad, baked beans, and chips with salsa and 7-layer dip for dinner - it was time for Grayson to tear into his gifts. From Daddy, Mommy, and Gordon he got a little golf set.

Grandpa Dave & Grandma Myra gave him new sand toys and a dump truck for his new sand box, more toy dinosaurs, and a musical card (which you can hear at any given time in our house, still).
